Can Falling On Land During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?
hi i am 39 weeks pregnant, i was at the shopping centre tonight and slipped forward. i didnt land on my belly but landed abruptly to to my right side on my hands. I feel that the baby was squashed at an acute angle with my fall and it happened rather fast. could this harm the baby. jasmin
welcome to Health care magic. 1.It can harm, may be not directly - but indirectly due to placental cause, maternal cause. 2.At this point of time you have to be keen in feeling the fetal movements, increase / decrease, any kind of spotting, leakage of liquids. 3.However the confirmatory way is, to get an ultrasound scan done for the fetal wellbeing, BPP (biophysical profile).
