Can Fainting Be A Result Of Change In Climatic Condition?
I almost fainted twice today. I stood up and was seeing all black for some seconds and I got scared that I was going to faint. I live in Cyprus and its really hot now, i arrived yesterday from a cooler area, could it be the sudden climate change or something else? What can I do about it?
Sudden fainting can happen with abrupt change in the climate. Make sure that your blood pressure is well within the normal range. Other causes like electrolyte imbalances also be ruled out. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
