Can Excess Of Stomach Acid Cause Abdominal Pain?

Recently I ve been experiencing abdominal pain, usually doesn t last long and isn t constant. A zantac usually helps the problem but the pain hasn t gone away since I took one at around 9:30. I do not have a fever nor am I vomiting. Could this be an excess of stomach acid or a gallbladder issue?
