Recently I ve been experiencing abdominal pain, usually doesn t last long and isn t constant. A zantac usually helps the problem but the pain hasn t gone away since I took one at around 9:30. I do not have a fever nor am I vomiting. Could this be an excess of stomach acid or a gallbladder issue?

Well there can be many symptoms for condition you mention in query like nausea , vomiting , stomach bloating , blood in the vomit or dark blood in the stool . There also stomach pain rather burning pain in case of stomach acid . I would suggest you to avoid trigger foods and irritants like alcohol, caffeinated drinks , or fatty foods , gassy foods , eat small meals throughout the day , take light walk after every meal and take antacid after every meal . If condition persist then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe H2blockers , proton pump inhibitor along with omeprazole .
