Can Eating Nuts Causes Chest Pain?

I am a 49 year-old male who exercises regularly, mostly cardio. I have noticed that if I eat a lot of nuts, say 1/2 cup or more, I have sever chest pain afterward, lasting for about half an hour. I have no other symptoms. If I eat just a few nuts, I have no problem. This has occurred after eaing primarily almonds on some occasions, and primarily pecans on others.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are mostly having acute gastritis due to eating more quantity of nuts.
Almost all nuts are having oil. And so when taken in large quantities, they can cause gastritis.
So better to avoid nuts in large quantities.
Take antacid like pantoprazole on empty stomach.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Avoid hot and spicy food.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
