Can Discontinuation Of Ambien Cause Ill Affects?

My mom has been taking ambien fir several years. Shrews recently admitted to a tele floor fir an atrial fib issue. They stopped her ambien based on hospital policy which was based on falling concerns. She now has significant delirium and I believe it may be the result of failing to taper her from the ambien. What do you think?

HI
Well come to HCM
Such condition may not be due to off the medicine that she was taking (Sedative) but this could be due to functional condition more over dose of the sedative medicine is matter of concern, delirium could be systemic disease or functional here the underlying cause of this it is very important but not the sedative drug at least, hope this helps, take care.
