hello sir, I have unprotected sex with my boy frd, now my period date is skip 8 days, now what to do for coming my period, I have doubt that is not consive and also have some symptoms for periods. now I want to know what am doing for protect the pregnancy

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

The first step you need to do is confirm pregnancy by a home pregnancy test kit using the first morning sample of urine. If it is negative do not worry and just wait.

If it is positive go to a gynecologist and have yourself evaluated. confirm that the pregnancy is inside the uterus and not in tubes.

Drugs to induce abortion need to be prescribed by a registered practitioner and in a set up with facility for a surgical procedure if needed. They may be used till 63 days after the last menstrual period.
