Can Combining Zoloft With Lamictal And BuSpar Safe?

I have been on Seroquil XR for 4 years. I also take Buspar, lamictal, and a BP med. My doctor wants to take me off of seroquil xr by titrating adding Zoloft and decreasing Seroquil. My pharmacist told me that there are sever reactions when combining Zoloft with Lamictal, and combining it with Buspar. YYYY@YYYY

Yes, taken together these medications can have harmful drug to drug interactions.

Zoloft (Sertraline) or BuSpar (Buspirone) taken together with Lamictal (Lamotrigine) may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, & difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination.
Besides you must avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Also avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery.
