Can Change In Diet Cause Squeezed Feeling, And Fast Race In Heart?
occasionally my heart feels like it is being squeezed and then pumps really hard. it can get very uncomfortable. it hasn t happened consistently but over the past 4-5 days it has happened more often. I have never had high blood pressure, in fact mine runs on the very low side of normal. I recently changed my diet to some lean meats but mostly fruits and vegetables. After changing my diet is when I noticed the changes. can you help?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It may not be related to the heart, it appears to be due to the gastric variation, due to the change in the diet . It could be due to the absence of the solid diet and early emptying of the stomach. Don't change the diet at once. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ranitidine, antacid gel. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
