Can Cabergoline And Beer Taken Together Cause Dizziness?

I am taking cabergoline .5mg once a week. I take every Saturday night. today, Sunday, I had sips of beer and all of a sudden I began to feel very weak and dizzy. I threw the beer away and rested for about half an hour, at which time I felt more normal. is there an interaction between cabergoline and alcohol?

Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I appreciate your concern towards the safety of Cabegoline.

Dizziness, light-headedness, or fainting can occur if alcohol is consumed while on Cabergoline this a type of drug interaction.
Beside alcohol hot weather, exercise, or fever may increase these effects.

These effects can be prevented by siting up or standing slowly, especially in the morning.
Sit or lie down at the first sign of any of these effects.

Hope the suggestions given above could be of great help to you.
A feedback is highly appreciated.
