Can Bending And Lifting Boxes Cause Injury In A Congenital Pulmonary Valve Stenosis Patient?
I have bending down a lot and wrapping items to move. I do have next pain from work by sitting in not such a good position and by a long drive back and forth to work. About a week ago I started to experience dizziness/light headiness when moving, especially when I bend to pick something with my left hand. I have experienced like a fast heart beat. But I have taken my b/p and pulse the pulse was only 74 and b/p 140/74. I do take meds for high b/p and high cholesterol. I do have a congenital pulmonic valve stenosis. Could I have injury my self with all that bending and lifting boxes doing packing???

Hi dear. Thanks for writing on HCM.I would always suggest not to exert yourself too much particular when you have a heart problem. The heart has to work more due to any kind of activity which causes increased blood supply to the heart.Since there has been a compromise in terms of its function this would further hamper its performance (due to stress).Increased work load results in increased heart rate, blood pressure so on an so forth.Avoid activities that exert your heart.Hope this answers your query.
