Can Aristozyme Be Given Along With Prostrate To An Infant Born With Single Cystic Kidney After Undergoing Colostomy?

Hello Sir,
I am Sarma. My baby undergone Colostomy by birth i mean on the date when he was born.now my baby age was 13 Months, i consulted the doctor recently and he said to me the baby must be at least 9 kg to reversal and he said the process name was PULL THROUGH. can you please suggest me whether 9 kg is mandatory for my baby.

One more thing Sir, my baby is with single kidney one kidney is not functioning with multiple cysts, and the second kidney had stones and we had cleared that problem and the doctor is saying that the baby is ok with one kidney and now his kidney is working fine and we are using PROTRATE MB6 syrup for the past 5 months and the doctor advised me to use for another 2 months and my baby is on bottle feeding and the baby can not able to digest, now and can we use any Digestive related tonics like ARISTOZYME (Digestive Enzyme) which is prescribed by our local doctor whether it will not contain anything which will effect the kidney. we are very tensed
Can you please guide us.

Thanks & Regards,
Sarma

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I really appreciate your concern. Your first query is regarding the weight of your baby. So 9 kg is good weight and no need to worry about this. Second try not to give unnecessary medicine to your baby.

Looking to renal problem, it is not advisable to give any enzymes which is not indicated. You better keep one good pediatrician for your baby.

Take care of kid have a nice day.
