Can Anxiety, Depression, Blood Pressure And Diabetes Medicines Be Taken Together?

My mother has been diagnosed with dementia. She is taking a couple of depression medications (one for depression and one for mood) and dementia medication. She is also on a anxiety medication. She takes a pill for diabetes and high blood pressure too. I want to know if all these medications are really necessary.
