Can Antibiotics Be Taken Before A Sinus Surgery?

I had hip replacement surgery 2 years ago. I know when I have dental work done, I have to take an antibiotic before and after the appointment. I am having sinus surgery done. I would suspect I also need to take the antibiotic, but my sinus doctor says no. My hip doctor says yes. What should be done?

if proper asceptic measure is taken then no antibiotic need to be taken. inthis case take the advise of operating surgeon and follow the advise.
