Can An Infant Be Given 3 Ml Nutrolin-B Syrup For Loose Motion?

Hello doctor, my baby is 6 months old and she is having loose motion since yesterday. My doc told she is having acute stomach infection and prescribed Nutrolin-B with dosage 3ml 3 times a day and asked me to continue 5 days. means (3ml-3ml-3ml)*5. Is the dosage is fine or it is higher dosage?

Yes you can give your daughter Nutrolin-B syrup for loose motions and the dosage is also fine as suggested by your doctor. Along with it you have to give her some antibiotic preferably syrup zifi-cv or syrup oflox-oz 5 ml twice daily. Maintain her hydration by giving plenty of oral fluids or ORS.
