Can An Early Period With Cramps Be Considered As Implantation Bleeding?

My Period was supposed to start Wed. But it started today instead. My Period is always on time or always only 1 day late. I began to have cramps this morning and on my way to work i was feeling really nauseous to the point where i was about to pull over. I know my body very well, i want to be sure if i am pregnant or not. Do you think it is possible? When can I take a pregnancy test if i am on my period? I read about implantation bleeding but I m not sure what to think.

Hello, thanks for writing in.
Nausea, cramping, slight bleeding along with a late period could signal a pregnancy. You can take a home pregnancy test to confirm.
Test results vary with different brands and their sensitivities, with most picking up a positive result a day or two after your missed period date.
To be sure you are not testing to early, do the test a week after your missed period as well.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
