Can Acidity Cause Headache?

Hi.. I have this acidity cum headache problem.. I have seen a lot of doctors.. Some say it s acidity bcuz a stomach scan showed that my stomach has gases higher than normal. So this is how it starts.. either I have eaten out or had no sleep or long gaps between meals.. I feel this slight headache and then it keeps increasing and then eventually I feel like throwing up and after throwing up I feel a lil relieved. What does this sound like? Acidity? Migraine? And the possible medications please? TIA!!

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having headache associated with nausea and vomiting sensation.
My response to your question is as follows.

These symptoms indicate primary headaches like migraine. Acidity does not usually cause headache.
This requires treatment by the use of analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs.
The definitive treatment is by the use of anti migraine drugs after confirming the diagnosis.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for any further questions and I will be happy to answer and assist you.

Thank you
