Can A Pink Smelly Discharge After Period Be A STD?

The past two months I have had pink smelly discharge right after my period. No other symptoms. I have had cervical cancer many years ago. I also have three children ages 11, 4 and 21 month old. I am sexually active with one partner for the past 3 years. Could this be an STD or something that could be taken care of by douching? Also, I never douche because my mother said not to because it washes away needed bacteria that fights yeast. Thanks for your time.

Hey thanks for your faith in the health care magic.i have gone through your question and understood your problem.
It appears you are suffering from vaginitis which is mixed type.

It can be candidiasis along with bacterial vaginosis.

Pinkish discharge can be due to infection or cervical erosion.

You can take tablet secnidazole and apply local clindamycin and metronidazole cream.

Get your pap's smear done to exclude any kind of dysplasia in cervical cells.

I hope this answers your query
