Can A Hematoma On The Hip Recur?

Good evening Doctor, my husband, who is nearly 80 is in the hospital with large hematoma on his hip. He is in a very good hospital, Emanuel, Portland OR. He may be coming home tomorrow. My question, what is the probability of this recurring? How dangerous is it for a man his age,

As age is above 60 years, so skin becomes thin and vessel becomes easily fragile also loss of connective tissue. So small type of trauma will do the same. Be careful and do the rest maximum as much as you can. Hope it will benefit.
