Can A Head Injury Cause Insomnia And Excessive Sweating?

I got pushed really hard into my wooden bed headboard. I was sitting strait with my back against the headboard as my friend jumped on me and now I have a big bump on the back of my head that hurts. I didn t faint, vomit or anything but did have a slight headache. I still have the bump, but I am having trouble falling asleep, and this sounds weird but I m like sweating and I m wondering if its related to the head injury? I just want to see if i have to worry about anything. Thanks

Hello,

Sweating may be due to the discomfort that you are feeling. Since there were no other symptoms besides slight headaches, I think yours is not a serious condition and you should feel better soon.

If there are new symptoms such as worsening of headaches, confusion, nausea or vomiting, you should see your Doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
