Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi.. From a considerable time,i am noticing little pimples on my penis head. They are non hurting and have a little brown top. I had sex before with the same partner from like 4 months and never happened like this before. But i have been suffering from UTI from quite a while. Is there any chance these bumps are related to UTI?? Because STD has a minor chance as both of us never indulge in sex before. Please help as soon as you can.
A UTI would not cause bumps at all, so I would suspect another cause. Based on your description, they sound most like genital warts, which are caused by an HPV virus, which you may have had for a long time without having any warts or other symptoms. It is recommended that you treat these since they can sometimes grow larger and become harder to treat, so I would suggest seeing a doctor about them to confirm the diagnosis and start treatment as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
