good day...I have a sore throat...the doctor prescribed me diclofenac potassium and amoxicillin 500 & clavunic acid 125 mg...but it does not give me any relief even if I have taken it for 2 days...I read the that diclofenac potassium should be stopped if you are experiencing persistent sore throat and high temperature...can I used reparil dragees instead of diclofenac potassium.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from acute pharygitis. Diclofenac may useful for musculoskeletal pains but less effective in viral pharygitis with pain. Use may use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet levocetrizine twice a day for five days. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
