Can Prednisone Cause Excessive Sweating?

I am sweating only in the morning after prepping for work as an insurance agent/ sit down job. The back of my head (hair) and face are drenched like I just got out of the shower. Started recently and I am taking 10MG of predinisoine for Crohn s pending some testing to possible begin HUMIRA treatment plan. Can the Pred be causing this?

Hello,

Prednisone is a corticosteroid medication often prescribed to help suppress the immune system and reduce inflammation in the body.

It can also cause a variety of side effects, including weight gain, increased appetite, excessive sweating, and mood swings.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
