Can Pramipexole Cause Fatigue, Nausea, Upset Stomach And Dizziness?

I am currently and have for 6 weeks been taking pramipexole for restless leg syndrome. The dose is 0.25 mg stab once tablet @ bedtime. I have been experiencing excessive tiredness, nausea, upset stomach, dizziness. It has progressively gotten worse. The pharmacist told me a few weeks ago that it would go away, with time on medication. It is a lot worse...it s the weekend my doctor is not in...can I stop taking this medicine and call him on Monday? I have things to do and can t function this way!

Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I would suggest you to continue with the medicine. But for the effects you can take symptomatic treatment like tablet pantop-D for gastric upset. Take plenty of oral fluids. Avoid spicy food. The side effects do not resolve on its own.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
