Dear Mona, The very fact your first pregnancy test was negative suggests that it was performed within first week of missed period when these tests can report false negative. So during this period, you have consumed Ovral G pills. I would have appreciated had you mentioned for how many days you took these pills. Ovral G are in fact contraceptive pills containing Ethinyl Estradiol and Norgestrel. These pills are also used for recurrent miscarriages. If you have taken just a few pills, they should not affect the pregnancy or the baby adversely. Please report this incidence to your Obstetrician. Depending upon the total dosage you have consumed, he/she will advise you about the safety of the baby and continuation of pregnancy.
