Can Omeprazole and Flucloxacillin be taken together?

Can I take omeprazole with flucloxacillin as I’m getting terrible heartburn, I take the antibiotics on an empty stomach 2 hours after food and one hour before I eat as prescribed. If I eat before taking them I feel quite nauseous so I need to take on an empty stomach

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

There I have read through your question and would like to tell you that Omeprazole and Flucloxacillin can be taken together. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor and has to be taken on empty stomach. It will also prevent the heart burn being caused because of Flucloxacillin.

I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions, please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.

Take care
