Can Oflomac-M Forte Be Given To Children Instead Of Albendazole?
Hi Doctor.. Good Day.. My kids are 7 and 3 years old boys. We use to give Albendazole once in 3 months period. We want to know how often we can give albendazole and want to know if we can use Oflomac M Forte instead of albendazole. And if we can use use Oflomac M Forte , what will be the dosage.

Both are different medicine and used for different ailments.
Albendazole is for warm infestation and one dose is sufficient to cure warm infestation.
If require you can repeat after a week but not so frequently.
Oflomac Mf is ofloxacilin with metrogyl and it is indicated in mixed gastro-intestinal infection like bacillary dysentry or protozoal infection.
Oflomac is better too be taken after advice of your doctor.
