Can Mucinex Cause Spike In BS In A Diabetic Patient On Lantus?
I am Diabetic. Usually well controlled on Lantus. I ve been fighting something the Dr thinks is viral and Bronchitis. So I am on Levoquin. Today my morning BS was 130. I chalked it up to being sick. I have eaten one blueberry bagel at noon. Nothing else, just water, and Mucinex Severe cough and congestion tablets. My BS spiked to 310 at 3:30pm. Can the Mucinex be causing the BS spike?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the respiratory syndrome then such production of mucin and it is the part of pathological changes but this is noting to worry because it comes around once the course of disease overs with the right medicines, it is not due to any medicine nor this is the side effect hope this information helps.
