Can Metoprolol And Effexor Be Taken Together?
I take 4 effexor tablets 37.5 once a day 2 in morning and two at night My DR just prescribed me Metoprolol succ ER 24 hour daily tablet for high blood pressure Can I take this with my Effexor? Also I notice it s ER tablet I could not take Effexor in ER because sensitive to meds So wondering if I should get this not in extended release.j

Hello Dear. You can take Metaprolol and Effexor together. Infact Effexor shouldnt be taken if there is very high blood pressure. Hence metaprolol is given to control your blood pressure. Hence you can take both.
