Can Maladie De Roger Get Bigger By The Growing Age?
My son has a 3 mm muscular vsd type maladie de roger discovered at one day. He is 5 weeks old. The doctors didn't want to see us before he is 3months. We are worried can the hole get bigger? And usually at what age the closure happens? And after closure the heart becomes normal?

Maladie de roger is a term which is used for very small VSD which on auscultation produces loud murmur. This type of VSD(muscular) does not causes any symptom and it gets closed in 80% of cases till 2 years of age.After closure heart function remains normal.
I won't get worried as such small VSD does not causes any complication.This is the reason your doctors have advised to see him after 3 months.
