My 11 1/2 year old daughter has been on lupron for 2 and a half years for precocious puberty. She has had injections every 28 days without any problems until October. I am trying to connect October s injection with December s injection based on her side effects. One week after her October injection, she came down with extreme tiredness and weakness, headache for 2 weeks. We took her to the dr. twice for mono tests, strep tests etc... and they could find nothing and said it was viral. She did get the flu shot. November s shot seemed ok, but just this December, one week later again, she has come down with the same symptoms and is sick now. Weak, tired, no energy, headache, dizzy etc... I m beginning to think it is the lupron and not another viral infection. Seems too weird. Could lupron be doing this to her?
