Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently changed pill to Loestron 30 from femodene and have been taking this pill for three month now however I have missed my period for 2 month now. I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests which both resulted as negative. Should I be worried? Or is this normal for this pill? Thanks.
The use of the oral contraceptive pill would lighten the period and decrease pain but would only cause complete suppression if you are taking them persistently with no interval between cycles.
If you are taking them with the 7 day break then bleeding should occur during this time. If no bleeding is occurring and the pregnancy tests are persistently negative then you may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment.
I hope this helps
