Can Levofloxacin Be Taken Along With Alkacitron?
i am a 28 yr male. I have severe burning urine. My urine test showed i had urinary infection. My doctor prescribed me Levofloxacin 500mg to be taken at night. he also prescribed alkacitron 10ml to mix in half a glass of water three times a day. Now another doctor tells me that levofloxacin should not be taken with alkacitron. Kindly advice what should i do.

You should give a gap of two hours between the medications. Aldactone affects the absorption of levofloxacin .
Take levofloxacin at 10pm. Alcacitron before 8pm or after 12am.
Hydrate yourself well.
