Can Klonopin 0.5mg cause burning tongue symdrom? I just had gallbladder surgery and my tongue has been burning and red and looks like alligator back. it is very unusual looking. My mouth was so dry after surgery. I'm wondering if it was something they had in my mouth that maybe has given me a infection of some kind. I could barely talk due to the dryness. Going to the doctor on Thursday but look up my systoms and this is what it says I have. Any suggestion on why I have this. Also I am so exhausted that I can only go for 15 minutes and have to set down. I just stated taking this again due to pain and needed to sleep. I think this drug is causing me to be short of breath and so tired. I just took one for tonight along with mu Lexapro. I'm only on 0.5mg. Never had this problem before with other surgeries but I didn't take Klonopin either. exhaustion is killing me and at lest 10 times a day I have to lay down and breath hard to get my breath. After tonight i'll not be taking anymore. I feel this could be my problem. your thoughts.
