Dear madam,I understand your concern.In my opinion usually placenta moves to upper segment of uterus by term in 90% of cases.
We need to monitor that by serial ultrasound.But till that time you have to take care.So avoid physical strain.Avoid intercourse.
And as your doctor said avoid journeys too.
