Can I Take L-theanine Supplement Along With Losartan?
I had a TIA 1month ago, now I take blood pressure pill, losartan potassium 25mg, aspirn 81mg, I also have anxiety really bad since the TIA, so now I also take Xanax 0.5mg. I would like to take a supplement for the anxiety, ie. neuro calm, but it has L-theanine, will this interfere with the losartan?

L theanine does have hypotensive effect and hence can still reduce the blood pressure while consuming losartan,however you can monitor your BP while taking it and if you feel that your blood pressure is going down substantially,then you can stop taking neuro calm.Not every person taking l theanine suffer drastic reduction in blood pressure.
