Can Hydroxyzine HCL Cause Supraventricular Tachycardia?
I was prescribed Hydroxyzine HCL 25mg for general anxiety. After reading about the side effects I am concerned about taking this drug. I have a history of SVT. The side effects listed mention possible problems with causing a dangerous irregular heart beat. Connie Howard

It is possible that you may have issues with the medication but it also possible that you may not have any problems what so ever. Unfortunately, it is not possible to predict if they will be any problems, most persons do not have any issues.
You would likely fall into the majority that does not have any problems but if you are not comfortable then you should speak to your doctor or do not use the medication.
