I am diagnosed with first pleurisy, pneumonia and now costochrondritis and possible PMR. Symptoms began two months ago. Severity of pain from the pleurisy and costochrondritis persists though not at the level of severity it was six weeks ago. In addition I'm feeling a dulled pain throughout my solar plexis, tender to the touch and through my entire GI. I'm wondering if Gas X, simethicone, 125 mg might help? I've taken up to 1,200 mg ibuprophen most days for two months, briefly I took meloxicam. Blood tests showed elevated inflamation, 3.8 at height, CT scan looked good as did blood tests for RA and lupus. I have not had ibuprophen or meloxicam today.
