Can Fluconazole And Budesonide Be Taken Together?

I have valley fever and lymphocytic colitis. I have been on fluconazole since December 1. After 5 weeks of being on fluconazole, I started having Diarrrhea. My doc told me to go on the budsonide 1 pill for 5 days and after that 1 every other day for 5 days. Worked but diarrhea comes back. Will it hut me to take 1 pill every day til I go in for blood tests the first part of March. I really do not know what he interaction is between the 2 and if I should be on the 2 drugs at once. Can u help me?

Hello,

Both drugs may be taken together nothing will happen.

But budesonide oral will increase the level or effect of fluconazole oral by altering drug metabolism.

So please keep it in the mind. Still, have queries please feel free to ask.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
