Can Effexor Be Taken While On Pristiq?
Hi I ve been in pristiq for 6 months 50mg and am switching to Effexor. Did taper down to every second day of pristiq for a week and now have had 2 days off completely. Have got brain zaps. Can I start the Effexor Tomorrow. I m 39 yrs 5 foot 8. And 64 kg

You can start Effexor if you still feel the symptoms.
Start with a lower dose and increase gradually if needed.
If you want to stop taking it you have to deal with this symptoms and most probably they will subside in a week.
