Can Diane Pills Cause Liver Cancer?

Hello doc i was taking Diane pills for 1year it is true it can cause liver cancer? I observe since I take it I never had pimples but I got mindgrain back pain lazzy always sleepy and tired I m a bit afraid now so I m thinking if its good I change my pills Diane to Althea?

Thanks for using HCM.
Diane pills cause something called hepatic adenomas. These are small benign nodules in liver. But this has the potential to turn in to liver cancer.
Althea also contains the same type of medications (hormones) and also has the same potential of causing side effects.
But in either case the risk of developing hepatic adenoma is low only ( 3 per 100000 users).
