Can Diane 35 Be Taken While On An IUD?

Hi Is it safe to be on IUD and take diane 35. I have under this for almost a year but 4weeks ago i was admitted to remove ovarian cysts and it was descovered that i also have oesophagist. Before admit ion i had been not taking my pills for a month and a two weeks after my operation. I slept peacefully and now i am back on my pills and the reflux is worse and I can t sleep. I am eating healthy but it is worse than before. My gynecologist is aware of this combination and he said it has no harm Pls help

Hi,

You are right, estrogen-containing pills can cause gastric problems like cramps or bloating. So if this is really a problem for you, you should discuss this with your gynecologist. Either he would stop/change the drug, or if this was not possible, he can advise some antacids with it.
