Can Dexamethasone Be Taken For The Treatment Of Sarcoma?

I have sarcoma cancer. The Oncologist has me on chemo and he prescribed dexamethasone. He also prescribed a potassium supplement for my low potassium level on my blood labs. But the pharmacy said they could not give me the potassium because of the dexamethasone. I m simply looking for a second opinion. Thank you
