General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is not safe to take delorazepam while on fluoxetine. Taking delorazepam along with fluoxetine may cause profound sedation, dizziness, confusion, impaired concentration, gait disturbances, and a tendency to fall.

Ask your doctor for an alternate effective sleeping pill like ramelteon which is less likely to cause profound drowsiness and hence can be taken along with fluoxetine.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
