Can Cytotec Be Taken For Labor Induction Without A Cervical Examination?
Can Cytotec be taken orally for labor induction WITHOUT a cervical exam? I m a few days short of 42 weeks pregnant. I can t find a reason to why I HAVE to have a cervical exam to take it unless labor doesn t occur. I understand oxytocin should only be done if your cervix is ripe. If I am correct that it is not necessary, then what should I tell the doctor?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* The intake of any drug in terms of labor induction, require an evaluation of the passage through which the baby is going to come out ( which is cervical examination and level of cervical dilatation ) ; without which it should never be prescribed and consumed.
I hope you get your query cleared.
Thank you
