Can CPAP Cause Oral Thrush?
Can cpap cause oral thrush. I have been using cpap almost six months. My dad passed away and I seen to be sleeping with mouth open and dry mouth, sore throat. I only use a nose mask. I called sleep center they have never heard of that happening. The only thing change was recent flu shot which gave me a metal taste in my mouth, now oral thrush. Thank you

CPAP can cause oral thrush, especially on prolonged use. You have to cleanse and dry the instrument before use. As of now consult a physician and start antifungal.
