Can Budecort And Duolin Nebulization Be Taken Together?

Hi I am prasun mukherjee from india I am 48 years old male suffering from Adenocarcinoma of right lung. I have been advised by my oncologist to go for budecort & duolin nebulization twice daily . My question is 1) is this drug combination ok. 2) can I use asthalin in place of duolin. 3) what will be the suitable time daily for taking the nebulization. Regards prasun mukherjee

Hi,

Duolin and Budecort can be taken together, but let there be an interval of 10 to 15 minutes between two nebulizations.

You can schedule its intake at any convenient time of yours with 12 hours apart. Best would be to take it between 9 to 10 am in the morning and 9 to 10 pm at bedtime.

Duolin contains two active bronchodilating substances namely salbutamol sulphate and ipratropium bromide. Asthalin is composed of only salbutamol.

Kindly use the medications as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
