Can Benadryl Be Taken For An Allergic Reaction Caused By Protonix?

I m having an allergic reaction to protonix. I have hives on my hands and my thumbs feel on fire. I also have a sore throat, had a fever yesterday, and have some open weeping spots on my nose and chin. Can I safely take some benedryl until I can call the pharmacy or doctor.

I agree with you. you stop taking protonix, drinking Benadryl with plenty of water while waiting doctors to solving the status of a sore throat and fever .
