Can Atorvastatin And Depakote Be Taken Together?

I have currently been prescribed Atorvastatin 10 mg once daily but I have done some research that says it should be taken with a dietary plan as well as an exercise plan;I have not been given those. I do not like taking any medications that will possibly cause my seizure activity to flare up because I currently take Depakote ER 500 mg 2x @ night for my seizure activity.I am afraid of the risk involved in this medication of statin; however I know I must do something to prevent from having another TIA from happening or worse. Can you please advise?

I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for drug interactions between Depakote and atorvastatin.
Atorvastatin should be taken just before sleeping.
This Williams give you highest therapeutic effect of atorvastatin. You can should avoid oily and fatty food in the dinner.
Also go for a walking after dinner to improve absorption of atorvastatin.
So at night after dinner take Depakote and before sleeping take atorvastatin.
