Can Aleve Be Taken While On Losartan And Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel?
I am on LOSARTAN POT 100 MG TAB AURO For high blood pressure....and my Dr. just prescribed Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel, 1% for both my Arthritic knees....2 Grams....any interaction problems? That would mean 2 Grams each for both knees? Can this Gel be used just when needed only? Can you also take Aleve with these medications?........

Yeah you can use diclofenic gel topical only when you feel pain on knees and their is no intetaction between diclofenic gel and losartan and also with Aleve.
But Aleve and losartan can interact with each other increase the toxicity of each other especially in older,renal problem and dehydrated patient.
if doctor prescribe these two medicine together close monitoring needed.
