Can Abatacept And Methotrexate Cause Chest Infection?

i HAVE HAD A CHEST INFECTION FOR SEVEN WEEKS NOW. I HAVE HAD THREE LOTS OF ANTIBIOTICS AND A CHEST XRAY WITH ANOTHER TO FOLLOW IN TWO WEEKS. I AM WONDERING ID ALL OF THIS IS A SIDE EFECT OF ABATACEPT AND METHOTREXATE WHICH I TAKE FOR R.A THANKYOU PAT BURGESS

It is not side effect of it but these medications may cause weakened immune system and compromise our defense mechanisms so infection,including chest infection may happen easier than in other people.
